UPSTEP started because most fitness equipment is designed to intimidate. Big, loud, expensive machines built for the kind of workout that happens once and then never again. We wanted something different: a walking pad that fits into real life — under a couch, in a studio apartment, quiet enough for a nap, strong enough for a family.
The best workout is the one you actually do. Consistency beats intensity. Ten minutes of walking every day will change your life more than an hour at the gym three times a year. We built UPSTEP to make the easy thing the obvious thing.
